Thank you! Oddly, these are using the same method I did on the earlier poxwalkers and such, but maybe my painting skills have improved since then. Which would by doubly strange considering the method: It's essentially just two shades and a drybrush over a basecoat. -Basecoated with Vallejo German Camo Beige (821 I think? The label has rubbed off. A citadel equivalent might be Zandri Dust) -Shaded everything with Seraphim Sepia (also the way I got the beige-off-white tone on my death guard's armour) -Drybrushed everything with white (probably not important which one, but I used some cheap $5 tube of school paint) -Shaded specifically the skin again with Druchii Violet (This last step is the real magic, it somehow goes from greyish yellow to perfect sickly skin tone immediately)
When I write it out this way it almost seems like cheating, but if I ever try to do anything remotely approaching edge highlighting or blending I do spontaneously combust, so it's a fair trade off.
Wow! Beautiful(!) work here. You've really outdone yourself with the fleshtones on the three hulks. What methods/colours did you use?
